Campaign shoots, workplace reportage and brand image libraries for marketing teams. Clients include Canva Education, Tramontina, Ambar Beer and Sparrow Shared Ownership.
Branding Photographer in London
I’m Rafael Bastos, a London-based commercial photographer, and branding photography is one of my three core services alongside corporate events and headshots. I build the visual assets marketing teams actually use: campaign imagery, workplace and lifestyle reportage, product-in-context photography, and complete brand image libraries. Clients include Canva Education, Tramontina, the Spanish beer brand Ambar, and the Sparrow Shared Ownership advertising campaign — and I photographed Thirty Seconds to Mars’ album launch on the roof of The O2 Arena.
Half-day branding shoots start from £700 and full-day shoots from £1,200, including pre-shoot planning, art direction on the day, professional editing, and a commercial usage licence. My background is editorial — 25+ years, including work syndicated through Camera Press and assignments for Vogue Brazil — which means the imagery reads as authentic reportage rather than stock. I photograph in London, across the UK, and internationally, in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
How much does a branding shoot cost in London?
Half-day shoots (up to 4 hours) from £700; full-day (up to 8 hours) from £1,200; multi-day library builds and international shoots quoted on enquiry. All prices include a planning call and shot list, editing and colour grading, and a commercial licence for web, social, PR, and advertising use.
What is branding photography — and what makes it different from stock?
Branding photography is a planned library of images that look and feel like your company: your people, your spaces, your products, your tone. Unlike stock, every frame is on-brand and exclusive to you. A typical library covers hero images for the website, team-at-work reportage, product or service in context, and detail shots for social and campaigns.
Who do you shoot branding photography for?
Recent branding clients include Canva Education (education platform imagery), WWCT (active-travel campaign photography), Tramontina (product-in-context), Ambar (studio and campaign photography for the Spanish beer brand), and Sparrow Shared Ownership (residents photographed at home for the advertising campaign). I’ve also photographed Thirty Seconds to Mars’ album launch on the roof of The O2 Arena, and I build image libraries for schools — 15+ years of branding and editorial work across the London Borough of Lambeth.
What happens on a branding shoot?
We start with a planning call: brand guidelines, usage list, locations, people. I arrive with a shot list but shoot editorially — directing where needed, documenting where it works better. You get a curated, graded gallery, not a card dump — initial selects within 48–72 hours, final retouched images within a week

Bold, clear visuals are essential for getting noticed. I create strong advertising images that align with your campaign goals, whether it’s for outdoor, digital, print or social channels — always tailored to your brand and audience.

Branding Photography for Agencies & Founders
Whether you’re launching a new brand or refining an existing one, I work closely with founders, designers and marketing teams to produce images that elevate your creative vision — from moodboard to final asset delivery.

Brand Portraits - People Behind the Business
Portraits are about more than just appearance — they help customers connect with the people behind the brand. I create relaxed, editorial-style portraits that feel natural and confident, perfect for use across websites, media kits and social platforms.

Lifestyle & Location Shoots - storytelling
Telling your brand story often means getting out of the studio. I work on location to capture spaces, interactions, and behind-the-scenes details that help your audience understand your values, process and personality.

Visual Content for Social Media & Website Use
A strong visual identity starts with images that work across your key channels. I deliver flexible, ready-to-use content for websites, Instagram, LinkedIn and beyond — giving your team a consistent look and feel across every touchpoint.

Product Photography for Brand Consistency
Whether it’s packaging, hero shots or styled flat lays, your product deserves imagery that feels consistent and intentional. I shoot real products in real settings — no stock fillers — so everything supports the story your brand is telling.

Frequent Asked questions
get in touch if you have any questions or wish to discuss your project.
Can you match our existing brand guidelines?
Yes — send your guidelines in the planning call and I’ll build the shot list, styling, and grade around them.
Do we own the images?
You receive a commercial usage licence covering marketing, web, social, PR, and advertising. Full buyouts available on request.
Can you shoot at multiple locations in one day?
Yes, within reason — two or three London locations in a full day is routine. I plan the route in the pre-shoot call.
What is the turnaround time for branding photography services?
Turnaround times range from 48 to 72 hours post-shoot for initial image delivery. Final retouched images are typically delivered within 1 week, depending on the project scope.
Can you shoot on location across the UK and internationally?
As a London-based branding photographer, I’m available for on-location shoots across the UK and internationally. Travel fees apply outside London and dependent on project requirements.
Do you offer product and lifestyle branding photography for website content?
Absolutely. I specialise in product staging, lifestyle brand photography, and service demonstrations to create versatile content libraries for websites, social media, and PR campaigns.
