Corporate Event Photographer in London
I’m Rafael Bastos, a corporate event photographer based in London with over 25 years of experience. Corporate events are the core of my work: conferences, summits, awards ceremonies, trade shows, product launches, and internal stakeholder events. I’ve photographed Adobe MAX London and Adobe Summit Las Vegas, Google events in London, Berlin and Brussels, Stripe events in Paris, London and Berlin and gala events at the Natural History Museum. Venues I work at include ExCeL London, Olympia, the Guildhall, the Barbican, Wembley Stadium, and Silverstone.
Half-day coverage starts from £550, full-day from £950; multi-day and international events are quoted on enquiry. Every booking includes pre-event planning, professional editing, and a licensed digital gallery. For events with press or PR deadlines I deliver same-day or next-day, and I can supply selected images during the event for live social media. I trained as a press photographer, so I work fast, unobtrusively, and to deadline. I carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance and shoot with dual-body redundancy and backup lighting at every event.
Which venues have you photographed events at?
Venues I’ve worked at include ExCeL London, Olympia, the Guildhall, the Barbican, Wembley Stadium, the Kia Oval, Ascot Racecourse, the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace, Silverstone and many more. Venue familiarity matters at corporate events: I arrive already knowing the light, the room layouts, and the house rules — from photography protocols at the historic palaces to accreditation and access at stadium venues. For a venue I haven’t worked before, I do a walkthrough or liaise with the venue’s events team in advance.

Conferences and summits (keynotes, breakouts, panels, networking), awards ceremonies and gala dinners, trade shows and exhibition stands, product launches and brand activations, board meetings and AGMs, and internal events such as town halls and leadership offsites. How quickly are event photos delivered?
Same-day or next-day delivery is available for events with media or PR deadlines — a habit from my press agency years, when images had to be on the wire within hours. Selected highlights can be delivered during the event for live social posting. Standard delivery for the full edited gallery is up to 5 days.
How much does corporate event photography cost in London?
Half-day coverage (up to 4 hours) from £550. Full-day coverage (up to 8 hours) from £950. Multi-day conferences and international assignments quoted on enquiry — recent international events include Las Vegas, Miami, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, and Doha. All prices include pre-event planning, editing, and a digital gallery with a commercial usage licence. Quotes are fixed before the event.
Why does a press background matter at corporate events?
Press work is about anticipating the moment — the handshake, the reaction, the award lifted — not staging it. It also teaches discretion: I’ve photographed Lewis Hamilton, Jared Leto, Sebastião Salgado, and the CEOs of Adobe and Nvidia, and senior executives at board level, without interrupting the room. And it means deadlines are non-negotiable.
Do you cover events outside London?
Yes. I’m based in London and cover events across the UK and internationally. I work in English, Portuguese, and Spanish — useful for international delegations. For larger events I assemble a team: second photographer, videographer, editor.

What happens if you're ill on the day?
I maintain a network of trusted London photographers of comparable standard, and every booking has a contingency plan. In 25+ years I have never missed an event.
What about equipment failure?
I shoot with dual camera bodies and backup lighting at every event, and images are backed up to two cards in-camera as I shoot.
Who owns the photos and how can we use them?
You receive a commercial usage licence covering marketing, PR, social, web, and internal use. I retain copyright, standard for UK commercial photography; full buyouts can be arranged.
How do you handle GDPR and attendee consent?
I work to your event’s privacy protocol — photography notices, opt-out mechanisms (lanyards/zones), and deletion requests are all supported.
